The Los Angeles Valiant announced the transfer of Terence “Soon” Tarlier and assistant coach Julien “Daemon” Ducros to an Overwatch League franchise to be named later, and transfer of assistant coach Jordan “Gunba” Graham to the Boston Uprising. Tarlier joined the Valiant prior to the beginning of the Overwatch League.
The 24-year-old main DPS was named a Pacific Division All-Star at the end of the regular season. Ducros, 22, served as assistant coach for the Valiant as the team captured the Stage 4 championship and Pacific Division title. Both men currently represent their home nation of France as part of the Overwatch World Cup.
Graham, 26, served alongside Ducros as part of the LA Valiant coaching staff. He currently holds the title as the head coach of the Australian Overwatch World Cup team. Australia and France have both qualified for the Overwatch World Cup finals at Blizzcon.
“Soon, Coach Daemon and Coach Gunba provided key contributions to the Pacific Division champion LA Valiant in the inaugural season of the Overwatch League,” said Noah Whinston, Los Angeles Valiant CEO. “We wish all three the best as they compete under the banner of their home countries in the World Cup and beyond.”
