If you told Mike Schwartz three years ago that he would be working with some of the highest level athletes in esports, he would have agreed; as their attorney.
Mike had always been set on a legal career, in fact, it was just about to begin before such an opportunity presented itself (just, not remotely in the capacity he would expect).
Mike became the Player Development Coach for the Counter Logic Gaming NALCS team in 2016, helping them to win their second domestic title as well as spur them on their historic MSI Finals appearance.
After CLG exited the World Championship later that year, Mike moved to assist in rebuilding the CLG Counter-Strike team, which subsequently made several playoff runs at both StarLadder and several Dreamhacks over the course of 2017.
With two strong years of player development and management experience across multiple esport titles, Mike is excited by the new dynamics that Overwatch League will bring and working with the Valiant.
